Description

An area of 38 hectares, 7400 trees and a potential yield of 40 tons of oil.

The Ceraudo olive oil is born in this this land, an earth which is harsh and of medium texture with 5% gravel, full of potassium, 60 meters above sea level, facing south. Ceraudo’s award-winning olive oil is obtained from organic farming, it has a fruity taste, slightly bitter, spicy with a hint of almond and rosemary.

In the early eighties I started working with the Experimental Institute for Olive Growing, after eight years of research, analysis and surveys, we were able to identify the best time for the olive harvest.

There is always a period in the year when the plant expresses its best organoleptic qualities and that is the moment to intervene, anticipating the harvest to prevent certain pests, at the cost of decreased performance in terms of quantity, but getting an oil, the best in Calabria, with excellent organoleptic qualities and low acidity. A fundamental component is also the dry climate, which limits the presence of the olive fly, an average of four generations (rather than 7), and the use of cutting-edge technology. The result, a "natural" product par excellence.

Just like fresh source water is drawn from a well, oil is drawn from the olive!
